‘Requiem: Mozart’s Last Words’, Ms. Emily Johnson

Emily’s Biography

Mezzo-soprano Emily Johnson holds a Bachelor’s of Music Degree in
Vocal Performance from the University of Northern Colorado. She has sung
both nationally and internationally, with her most recent engagement at the
Berlin Opera Academy as the role of Dryade in Ariadne auf Naxos. Other
operatic roles include Hermia in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream,
Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus, Hansel in Hansel and Gretel, 2nd and 3rd
Knaben in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Veronique in Le Docteur Miracle and
Lolette in La Rondine. Ms. Johnson has also sung in the chorus with Opera
Colorado and was a cast member for the Denver Opera Collective’s
inaugural season, where she performed selections as Cherubino from Le
Nozze di Figaro and as Octavian in der Rosenkavalier.

The Longmont Chorale performs, “Requiem: Mozart’s Last Words” on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 3PM at LifeBridge Christian Church in Longmont.  The Chorale and guest soloists are accompanied by instrumentalists from the Longmont Symphony Orchestra.

The Longmont Chorale is a nonprofit Longmont choral group, an SATB choir which performs four major concerts in Longmont each season.  Concert tickets and information are both available at LongmontChorale.org/Tickets.
